Steps to follow to get your work published on books-on-line.co.za GENERAL 1. MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT Please reade the membership agreement carefully. 2. REGISTER Register for a free account here. It is absolutely free! 3. VALIDATE You will receive a validation link, so please make sure you use a valid e-mail address. Click on the link in your e-mail, and you will be ready to go! PUBLISHING YOUR WORK 1. PROOF READ We are currently negotiating with proofreaders to offer a proofreading service for authors, but intill this service is up and running, please make sure your work is faultless before submitting. 2. WE NEED THE FOLLOWING - Short bio of yourself
- Recent photo of yourself
- If you are a published author, please make a list of published works
- How much do you want your written work to be sold for.
3. SUBMITTING YOUR WORK - Work must be submitted in pdf format. Keep in mind that you cannot upload more than 8M at once. Therefore you could divide your work into chapters. And upload each chapter on it's own.

- Upload a photo of yourself (face) and a short biography of yourself.
- Upload your e-book cover (If you don't have a e-book cover, we will design one for you for R80.00 per design)
4. ONLINE PUBLISHING PROCESS
- As soon as we receive your submittal, we will assemble your book.
- The book will be uploaded to the bookstore and a link where you can download your book - for testing purposes will be sent to you. If you are satisfied, the book will be published as an e-book.

We offer the following: - E-BOOK PUBLISHING: These books are for on-screen reading. The buyer will be able to download and print this book. If you plan to sell your work in this format, keep in mind that it has to be cheaper than a printed copy. A good idea is to make your book available in chapters where buyers will have the option to buy chapter for chapter or the whole book at once.
- PRINTED FORMAT: If you are a self publisher or you have a published book, we will list your book on our bookstore. All we need from you is a bio of yourself, a short synopsis of the book and a cover. This will be uploaded to the bookstore and as soon as payment is received, you can ship the book to the buyer.
- MEDIA FORMAT: Media format is quite the rage nowadays. So jump right in. Please send me an e-mail to

THE BUYING PROCESS - The process is very simple. The buyer makes an order on books-on-line.
- The buyer receives an e-mail with banking details where he must deposit the money for his purchase.
- Your money is paid over to you
- In the case of media/ebook, the buyer will receive a link where he can download the purchase.
- In the case of printed material, you will receive the buyers information where you can send your book
MONEY MATTERS
You decide for how much you would like to sell your work. books-on-line.co.za puts 15% onto your selling price and that is for how much your work will be sold. When books-on-line receives payment, your money will be deposited into your account immediately. You will receive a monthly report on how your work is sold and how many views your work has received.
